These Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender ribeye steak pieces air fried to perfection, then tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce with fresh parsley. Perfect for a delicious, easy-to-make appetizer or main course.

Ingredients

Steak Bites

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless ribeye steaks, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 3 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes to ensure even cooking and a perfect sear on the steak bites.
  2. Season the Steak Bites: In a large bowl, combine the steak pieces with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Toss well to evenly coat all the pieces with the seasoning.
  3. Arrange Steak in Air Fryer: Place the seasoned steak bites in a single, even layer inside the air fryer basket. There is no need to spray the basket with oil due to the olive oil used on the meat.
  4. Air Fry the Steak Bites: Cook the steak bites in the air fryer for 4 to 6 minutes depending on your preferred doneness. No flipping is required. For medium-rare, cook about 5 minutes to reach an internal temperature of 135°F. Keep in mind the bites will continue cooking slightly when combined with the butter sauce.
  5. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: While the steak is cooking, melt the salted butter in a large skillet over medium heat until fully melted.
  6. Sauté Garlic and Parsley: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook until fragrant, roughly 30 seconds. Stir in the fresh chopped parsley to incorporate.
  7. Toss Steak Bites in Butter Sauce: Add the cooked steak bites from the air fryer into the skillet with the garlic butter sauce and toss to coat everything evenly. Cook together for about one minute to blend flavors.
  8. Serve Immediately: Transfer the garlic butter steak bites to a serving plate and enjoy while hot for the best taste.

Notes

  • For medium steak bites, aim for an internal temperature of 135°F; adjust cooking time for desired doneness.
  • No oil spray is needed in the air fryer since the steak is coated with olive oil.
  • Use fresh minced garlic for the best aroma and flavor in the butter sauce.
  • Serve with your choice of sides such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Make sure to cut the steak into uniform bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
