Ingredients
Banana Milkshake Ingredients
1 large ripe banana
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon (a dash) ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 giant scoops vanilla ice cream
For Serving
Whipped cream
Dried banana chips
Instructions
Prepare the banana: Slice the large ripe banana into 1-inch slices and place them at the bottom of your blender container for easier blending.
Add liquids and flavorings: Pour 1 cup of milk, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, a dash (1/8 teaspoon) of ground cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice over the banana slices in the blender.
Add ice cream and blend: Add 3 large scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the mixture and blend until the shake is very smooth and creamy. If the mixture becomes too cold and difficult to blend, add small splashes of milk to help it puree evenly.
Serve: Pour the blended banana milkshake evenly into two glasses. Garnish each serving with whipped cream and dried banana chips for added texture and presentation.
Notes
For a thicker shake, add more ice cream or use frozen banana slices.
Use whole milk for a richer taste or substitute with any milk alternative for a different flavor profile.
The lemon juice adds a slight tang and helps prevent the banana from browning.
You can adjust the amount of cinnamon based on your preference for spice.
Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
