This Easy Baked Brie Appetizer is a delicious and elegant dish that's perfect for entertaining. A wheel of creamy Brie cheese is topped with sweet and spicy red pepper jelly and baked until warm and gooey. Serve this crowd-pleasing appetizer with crackers or sliced baguette for a simple yet impressive snack everyone will love.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Brie wheel (8 oz., 12 oz., or 16 oz.)
  • 1 cup red pepper jelly (use more as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a round baking pan by lining it with parchment paper if you prefer easier cleanup. You can also bake the Brie directly in a baking dish if you plan to serve it in the same dish.
  2. Arrange Brie: Place the Brie wheel in the prepared baking dish or on the parchment-lined pan.
  3. Add Jelly: Spoon approximately 1 cup of red pepper jelly on top of the Brie wheel. You can use the entire jar if you want extra jelly to enjoy with bread alongside the Brie.
  4. Bake Brie: Bake the Brie in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Check for doneness at 25 minutes—you want the Brie to be melted and gooey but not completely collapsed.
  5. Serve: Remove the baked Brie from the oven, transfer it to a serving plate if needed, and serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette for dipping.

Notes

  • A larger Brie wheel (12 or 16 oz.) can be used for more servings.
  • Adjust the amount of red pepper jelly to taste; more jelly creates a sweeter appetizer.
  • Baked Brie is best served warm to enjoy its gooey texture.
  • Pair with crusty baguette slices or your favorite crackers for serving.
