A refreshing and indulgent iced caramel latte recipe combining rich espresso, smooth milk, and sweet caramel syrup, topped with creamy whipped cream and a caramel drizzle for the perfect coffee treat.

Ingredients

Drink

  • 1 espresso coffee - approx. 60 ml
  • 1 tablespoon caramel syrup
  • 125 ml milk

Topping

  • Whipped cream (Chantilly)
  • Caramel syrup for drizzle
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Espresso and Caramel Mix: Brew approximately 60 ml of espresso coffee and stir in 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup. Allow the mixture to cool slightly to prevent melting the ice too quickly.
  2. Prepare Glass: Optionally, decorate the rim of a tall glass with caramel syrup. Fill the glass with a generous amount of ice cubes to chill the drink thoroughly.
  3. Assemble Drink: Pour 125 ml of milk into the glass over the ice. Then, gently pour the cooled espresso and caramel mixture into the glass.
  4. Add Topping: Top the latte with whipped cream (Chantilly). Drizzle additional caramel syrup over the whipped cream for an extra touch of sweetness and decoration.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy a perfectly chilled iced caramel latte.

Notes

  • Using freshly brewed espresso ensures a robust coffee flavor.
  • The caramel on the glass rim is optional, but adds a decorative and tasty touch.
  • You can adjust the amount of caramel syrup to taste for sweetness preference.
  • For a dairy-free alternative, substitute milk with almond, oat, or soy milk.
  • To make the whipped cream from scratch, beat heavy cream with a little sugar until soft peaks form.
