This Ninja Foodi Grill Chicken recipe delivers juicy, flavorful boneless skinless chicken breasts seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices. Perfectly grilled using the Ninja Foodi Grill, this dish is quick to prepare and ideal for a healthy, protein-packed meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast (24 oz)

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried herbs Herbs de Provence (or Italian seasoning, dried basil, or dried oregano)

Oil

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat Grill: Press the grill setting on the Ninja Foodi Grill to begin preheating. Allow it to preheat for 10 minutes to ensure it reaches the ideal cooking temperature.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve a good sear and prevents steaming.
  3. Season Chicken: In a small bowl, combine fine sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and dried herbs. Sprinkle this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts. Drizzle avocado oil over the chicken and rub it in to coat well, enhancing flavor and preventing sticking.
  4. Grill Chicken: Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Set the timer for 18 minutes total, flipping the chicken after 10 minutes to ensure even cooking. Grill until the internal temperature reaches 162°F, noting that it will continue to cook while resting to reach the safe temperature of 165°F.
  5. Rest Chicken: Once grilled, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Resting allows juices to redistribute within the meat, resulting in moist, tender chicken ready to serve.

Notes

  • Cooking times may vary based on grill model and chicken thickness; always use a meat thermometer to ensure safe internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Letting chicken rest after grilling enhances juiciness and tenderness.
  • Herbs de Provence can be substituted with Italian seasoning, dried basil, or oregano according to taste preferences.
  • Avocado oil is used for its high smoke point and neutral flavor but can be replaced with olive oil if preferred.
